Hi there! I'm Jess Jefferies, a contemporary romance author who believes the best love stories come with plenty of heart, a little humor, and a book boyfriend worth swooning over.

I've loved reading for as long as I can remember, and I've been writing stories and poems since I was a little girl. These days, I write heartfelt romances filled with hope, humor, unexpected detours, and happily ever afters. My Unlucky in Love series follows a close-knit group of friends and family as each of them discovers that love rarely goes according to plan—and sometimes that's exactly what makes it worth the trouble.

I live in North Carolina with my husband, our three kids, and our dogs. When I'm not writing, you can usually find me swimming with my kids, playing board games, or curled up with a book and a comfy blanket.

And because apparently one fictional world isn't enough, I'm also working on a fantasy romance series filled with elemental magic, dangerous trials, complicated loyalties, and, of course, romance.
